Graziano Pennetta, born in 95, began playing drums at the age of 12 as self-taught and at the age of 17 he began studying modern drums under the guidance of Maestro Alessandro Napolitano. Over the years he has the opportunity to attend and expand his musical level thanks to many masterclasses with internationally renowned masters, not only drummers such as: Dennis Chambers, Steve Smith, Mark Guiliana, Kim Plainfield, Phil Maturano, Roberto Gatto, Ulysses Owens Jr, John Patitucci, Jed Levy, Bobby Watson, Roberto Cipelli, Giovanni Amato, Dado Moroni, Gegè Telesforo, Paolo Benedettini, Michele Rabbia, Mimmo Campanale and many others.

In 2015 he undertook his academic studies at the Egidio Romualdo Duni conservatory in Matera under the guidance of M ° Bruno Astesana and Fabio Accardi, obtaining the 1st and 2nd level diploma in “Jazz drums and percussion”. In 2016 he records and arranges the album of his Pop-Rock band “AREA 106”, subsequently participating in the “Medio Basento Contest Fest” and winning the first prize that will lead them to the participation of the MEI (Meeting of the Independents) held in Faenza (RV). In 2017 he has the opportunity to attend the lessons of Maestro John Riley, through a 3-day drum campus. In 2018 he participated in the seminars of the “Nuoro Jazz Festival” under the guidance of the masters: Stefano Bagnoli, Bebo Ferra and Fulvio Sigurtà. In addition, he will have the honor of participating in the masterclass held by New York jazz guitarist Peter Bernstein. In 2019 he participates in a 3-day summer campus together with the pianist Antonio Ciacca and the drummer Luca Santaniello. In 2019 he began his collaboration as official drummer for the national artist Giuseppe Povia, winner of the Sanremo festival, with whom he will make numerous live dates throughout Italy, during the “DivertimenTour 2019” tour.

In June 2019 he was the winner, with the H-owl Project formation, of the second edition of the Onyx Jazz Contest, winning the opportunity to perform at the Winter edition of Gezziamoci 2020. In November 2019 they participate in the “Novi Sad Jazz Marathon 2019” in Serbia. In March 2020, they record their first recording project “BL! P” released on June 19, 2020 under the record label “Onyx Jazz Club” of Matera and presented during the concerts of the Nuoro Jazz Festival and the summer edition of Gezziamoci 2021. With the same formation, he will have the opportunity to collaborate with the international trumpeter Paolo Fresu in the song “Would You Kindly?”, also collaborating with the foreign label “Group Bracil” of London, releasing the vinyl “Sea Of Tranquility / 15: 15”. In 2019 starts his collabortion with the Apulian singer-songwriter Domenico Larocca, recording the single “I Can’t Breathe” and participating in the Resetfestival music festival organized by Offtopic of Turin, at Medimex 2021 at the “SpazioPorto” Taranto and, in the winter of 2021, in the live session “Fatto d’Argilla” (Murgia Live Session), from which the homonymous album will be released.
