He began studying drums at the age of 12 under Maestro Ubaldo Rivi and later attended numerous masterclasses with Lele Melotti, Gregg Bissonette, Mauro Gherardi, Christian Mayer, and others. He studied at the “Bruno Maderna” State Conservatory of Music in Cesena, where he graduated in percussion in 2011. He also trained in Latin percussion with Lele “Shaddy” Sgarbi, Leo Di Angilla, Paolo Caruso, and Flavio Piscopo.

He has gained extensive teaching experience in various music schools in Imola, Medicina, Castel San Pietro Terme, Ravenna, and beyond.

His musical activity spans both classical and pop settings. He has collaborated with the Experimental Orchestra of Emilia-Romagna, directed by Maestro Orlando Pulin. At the Teatro Comunale in Florence, he performed as a percussionist under Maestro Arnold Bosman in Britten’s *The Little Sweep*, Krása’s *Brundibár*, and Weill’s *Das Berliner Requiem*. He has also performed as principal percussionist with the Arezzo Philharmonic Orchestra under Maestro R. Fabbriciani, and as timpanist with the Collegium Musicum Almae Matris, directed by Maestro David Winton. He toured with Franco Oppini and Pippo Santonastaso as part of the operetta company “Edipo.”

Since 2020, he has been collaborating regularly with Gem Boy and Cristina D’Avena. He has also worked with a wide range of artists, including Righeira, Danilo Sacco, Alberto Camerini, Ricky Portera, Enrico Silvestrin, Kay Foster Jackson, James Thomson, Freak Antoni, Federico Poggipollini, Bermuda Acoustic Trio, Tanya Michelle, Andrea Mingardi, Morgan, Jimmy Villotti, Marina Massironi, Ugo De Ghero, Ezio Greggio, Enzo Iacchetti, Gemelli Ruggeri, Trio Reno, Francisco Vidal, Dave Harris, Beppe D’Onghia, Andrea Roncato, Toto Cutugno, Mario Biondi, Cesareo, the Joe Pisto Trio, Magamadama, Fabio Supernova, Anthera, Cialtronight, Diapason Band, Mirko Casadei Beach Band, Guilt Deluxe, Riccardo Majorana, The Mad.G, Stefano Fucili, and Piazza Grande.

He is an official endorser for UFIP, Lantec sticks, and Varus drums. Since 2021, he has been collaborating with craftsman Sergio Giovagnola, performing with his handcrafted “Sempiternus” snare drums.
