Born in 1993, he began studying drums consistently at the age of 8 at the Beniamino Gigli School in Recanati (Montefano branch). In 2013, he enrolled in the Drums program at A.M.M. – Academy of Modern Music (National School) in Potenza Picena (MC), studying under Stefano Luchetta and Franco Rossi and earning his Diploma in July 2016 in Milan. In 2014, he attended the Heavy Metal Drum Course held by Alessandro Vagnoni at the Lizard Music Academy in Macerata. Parallel to his studies at A.M.M., he completed the London College of Music Drum Program, graduating with Level 7 in 2015 and Level 8 in 2016.
During his time at A.M.M., he participated in numerous clinics with internationally renowned drummers including Iarin Munari, Skip Hadden, Franco Rossi, Dom Famularo, Marco Bellagamba, Federico Fazi, Aaron Spears, Dennis Chambers, Camillo Colleluori, Stefano Luchetta, Archelao Macrillò, Max Furian, Paolo Bertorelle, and Luca Casagranda. He achieved A.M.M. qualification for the Teachers Course – Level 1 (July 2017) and Level 2 (July 2018). He is currently studying with Maestro Archelao Macrillò and is also a certified instructor of the “Rusticucci Method.”
In his early years, Francesco was drawn to Italian music (Battisti, Ramazzotti, etc.), later developing his interest in Rock and Punk (Blink-182, Sum 41, The Offspring, Pennywise, Green Day). His musical journey eventually led him toward Metal (Avenged Sevenfold, Pantera, Iron Maiden, System of a Down, Kyuss, Opeth), Metalcore (Parkway Drive, Destrage), Crossover (Rage Against the Machine), Grunge (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains), Hardcore (Madball, H2O), Pop-Rock (Oasis, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons), Funk (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tower of Power), as well as Blues, Jazz, and Latin music.
He teaches at the Academy of Modern Music – National School (at its Montefano campus and at the Potenza Picena headquarters); at the Liceo Musicale A. Toscanini in Porto Potenza, Sambucheto, Trodica, and Loreto; at the Civic School of Music of Montefano; at the Rock & Arts Association; at the Lizard Music Academies – Recanati Laboratory; and at the Civitanova Music School “Musicainsieme.”
His live and studio collaborations include: The Vega Brothers (with whom he recorded the 2016 album Inn Nature and performed at major Hardcore festivals across Italy, opening for H2O (NY), Your Demise (UK), Thell Barrio (MEX), BROWBEAT (IT), Slander (IT)); Shaolin (Post Stoner); Evercold (Coldplay Tribute Band); Blue Bus Blues Band (Rock/Blues Cover); SPRINGoFF (Offspring Tribute Band); The Dorlomin Quartet (Irish Traditional Music, performing at the 2018 Chiaravalle Celtic Festival); Lead Blimp – Rock Party (60s/70s Rock-Blues); Djako (Italian Rock Funk); Pharjie Phienara – Queen Special Tribute; Cantapiccolo Story Orchestra; Valkyrie – Women’s Rock Tribute Band; Skasablanka – Italian Ska/Reggae Tribute Show; Original Fire – Chris Cornell Tribute Band.
His main goals for the future are to continue developing his instrumental skills while refining his teaching approach, with the aim of inspiring students and transmitting his passion for music and drumming.
