Emanuel
Accattoli

**Emanuel Accattoli** (Loreto, 9 August 1997) began his musical career at the age of 13. From 2011 to 2016, he attended the drums course at the *Paolo Soprani* Music School in Castelfidardo, studying under Maestro Luca Cingolani, a well-known drummer from the Marche region. During these five years, Emanuel honed his technical skills and rudiments while exploring various musical styles.

In 2016, he enrolled in the three-year Pre-Academic Pop Drum program at the *Saint Louis College of Music* in Rome, one of Italy’s leading private conservatories, completing it in 2019. There, he studied with Roberto Palladino, session drummer for Marcella Bella and many others. In addition to drums, he took courses in piano, ensemble music, rhythm section, ear training, rhythmic analysis, classical and jazz harmony, and music technology. He concluded this cycle of study with a live performance at the Monk in Rome alongside his ensemble classmates.

In 2019, Emanuel began the Academic Triennium in Jazz Drums at the *G.B. Pergolesi* Conservatory in Fermo, following a curriculum similar to that of Saint Louis College, with the addition of subjects such as compositional techniques, improvisation, music history, and jazz history. His first-year drum teacher was Marcello di Leonardo, followed by Andrea Nunzi from the second year onward. In the same year, he also pursued his interest in Middle Eastern music, studying the Darbuka with Maestro Francesco Savoretti, a renowned percussionist active throughout Italy, with whom he continues to study.

Throughout his training, Emanuel participated in seminars and masterclasses with distinguished drummers including Chris Coleman, Gavin Harrison, Adriano Molinari, Jojo Mayer, Michele Lelli, and others. In the field of percussion, he attended the masterclass *“Rhythms of the Eastern Mediterranean”* with Vagelis Karipis at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena (October 5–10, 2020). He is also certified to teach the Rusticucci method, having completed the corresponding preparation course.

Over the years, Emanuel has played in numerous cover/tribute bands and original projects, establishing his presence in the Marche music scene and beyond. Notable experiences include reaching the national semifinals of the Sanremo Area with *Ego 3*, performing at the maximum-security prison in Parma, recording multiple albums, and collaborating with *T.N.T.*, a prominent Italian AC/DC tribute band.

In addition to live performances, he has significant studio experience. As a percussionist, he collaborates with the Oriental Dance School of Civitanova Marche *“Nura Danza”*, participating in their shows. Since June 2022, he has been an official user of *Sempiternvs Handcrafted Snare Drums*, acquiring the single-band snare drum *Deep Purple*.
