Emanuel Accattoli (Loreto, 9 August 1997) began his career as a musician at the age of 13. From 2011 to 2016 he attended the drums course at the “Paolo Soprani” music school in Castelfidardo, learning the art of drums with maestro Luca Cingolani, a well-known drummer from the Marche region. In these five years Emanuel has studied techniques and rudiments of the instrument, but also various musical styles. In 2016 the young drummer enrolled in the Pre-Academic three-year period of Pop Drum at the “Saint Louis College of Music” in Rome, one of the most important private conservatories in Italy, completing it in 2019. Here he studied with Roberto Palladino, session player of Marcella Bella and many others and besides the drum course he attended the piano course
complementary, ensemble music, rhythm section (study of musical styles), ear training, rhythmic analysis, classical and jazz harmony, music technology.
He concludes his cycle of studies with a live, together with the musicians of the ensemble course, at the Monk in Rome.
In 2019 Emanuel begins the Academic Triennium of Jazz Battery at the “G.B. Pergolesi “in Fermo, where he follows the same courses as the Saint Louis with the addition of new subjects such as compositional techniques, improvisation techniques, history of music, history of jazz and others. The first year drum teacher is Marcello di Leonardo, while from the second year he studies with Andrea Nunzi. Also in 2019 he decides to immerse himself in the world of Middle Eastern music, which has always attracted Emanuel, venturing into the study of Darbuka with maestro Francesco Savoretti, drummer and percussionist known and in demand throughout Italy, from which he still studies.
During his training Emanuel participates in seminars and Masterclasses of drummers of the caliber of Chris Coleman, Gavin Harrison, Adriano Molinari, Jojo Mayer, Michele Lelli and many others. As regards the field of percussion, he took part in the Masterclass “Rhythms of the Eastern Mediterranean”, held by Vagelis Karipis, at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena from 5 to 10 October 2020. He is also qualified to teach the “Rusticucci” method , for which he attended the preparation course.
Over the years he has been part of many cover / tribute bands and unpublished projects, making himself known more and more in the Marches music scene and outside the region. Among the most important experiences stand out the national semifinal of the Sanremo Area reached with the Ego 3, with whom he also performs in the maximum security prison in Parma and records various discs, and the collaboration with T.N.T., a well-known Italian tribute band of AC / DC. In addition to live activities he also has a good experience in the recording studio. As a percussionist he collaborates with the Oriental Dance School of Civitanova Marche “Nura Danza”, participating in their shows. From June 2022 he began the collaboration with “Sempiternvs Handcrafted Snare Drums”, from which he bought the single band snare drum “Deep Purple”, becoming an official user of the brand.
